Accor’s boutique hotel brand MGallery Collection has announced the launch of V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection, marking the group’s entry into the Maldives hospitality sector.
The new all-villa resort is situated on the private island of Mirihi in the South Ari Atoll, a location known for its beaches and clear lagoons, and is accessible by a 30-minute seaplane flight from Malé, the Maldives’ capital city.

The property consists of 42 villas, including four newly constructed overwater units with private pools.
According to the company, the resort’s design aims to reflect Maldivian heritage and natural surroundings, with the intention of providing guests with a sense of tranquillity and privacy.
Architectural company Studio Gronda led the design, incorporating handwoven lattices and coral-inspired ceramics. The villas are built with locally sourced materials.
The resort also features The Mirihi Maa suite, which provides indoor-outdoor living spaces, a private pool, and lagoon access.
A central feature of the resort is the Coral Ceramic Wall, described by Accor as a sculptural element finished in blue tones intended to honour local craftsmanship and the island’s natural environment.
The Akoya Sea Lounge is located at the heart of the property and includes a rope chandelier suspended above the lounge space. The lounge also offers cocktails.
Dining options at the resort include Dhonvelli, an all-day restaurant featuring a menu based on locally sourced seafood, and Muraka, an overwater restaurant focused on ocean produce.
The Mirihi Spa at the resort offers treatments using botanical ingredients from the island, as well as sound healing, meditation, and yoga sessions.
V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection is the latest addition to the MGallery Collection’s portfolio of high-end accommodations.
