IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Indian real estate development and hospitality company Mac View Infrabiz for a Holiday Inn property in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

Holiday Inn Mandi is part of IHG’s strategy to broaden its reach in high-potential commercial and travel destinations in North India.

It will be located on the Chandigarh–Manali corridor, an area noted for connecting the National Capital Region to key tourist sites in the state. The location is expected to attract business, leisure, and transit guests.

The hotel is set to offer 100 rooms and suites, together with three dining options and flexible event spaces, including a ballroom.

IHG states that there are currently 17 operating Holiday Inn hotels in the country, with another 34 under development.

IHG has 52 properties open in India across seven brands, including InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, and Holiday Inn Express.

The company also has a pipeline of 98 additional hotels scheduled to open throughout the country over the next three to five years.

Recently, IHG entered an agreement with Fullon Hotels & Resorts to open HUALUXE Taipei, marking the debut of the Hualuxe brand in Taiwan.
