The opening is the first phase of a 529-key dual-branded Hilton development planned for Embassy TechVillage, an integrated business park in Bengaluru. The launch also represents Hilton’s fourth hotel with Embassy REIT.
The second brand in the development, a full-service Hilton Hotels & Resorts property, is expected to open later this year.
Hilton Asia-Pacific president Alan Watts said: “The opening of Hilton Garden Inn at Embassy TechVillage marks an important milestone in Hilton’s decade-long partnership with Embassy Group.
“Bengaluru continues to be one of India’s most dynamic hospitality markets, driven by strong corporate demand, global business travel and a growing appetite for high-quality stay experiences.”
Hilton Garden Inn at Embassy TechVillage includes workspaces designed for business travellers and flexible meeting facilities. The property also includes a 24-hour fitness centre and a temperature-controlled outdoor pool.
For dining, the hotel has two restaurant concepts. Desi Quotient (DQ) focuses on regional Indian food, while Merigo, the all-day dining venue, serves global options.
The companies said the hotel provides connectivity to “key business hubs” in the city and offers direct access to the upcoming Kadubeesanahalli Metro Station.
Embassy Group chairman Jitu Virwani said: “Embassy TechVillage is a strong reflection of this vision, bringing together world-class workplaces, infrastructure, hospitality and experiences within one of Bengaluru’s most important business corridors.
“The opening of Hilton Garden Inn at Embassy TechVillage, in partnership with Hilton, further strengthens the hospitality and lifestyle infrastructure we are building across our portfolio.”
With this opening, Hilton’s Bengaluru portfolio now totals 13 properties, making it the company’s largest cluster in India.
The company’s Hilton Garden Inn brand has more than 1,100 hotels across 65 countries and territories.
Last month, the Peachtree Group completed a full upgrade of the Hilton Garden Inn Jackson in Tennessee, US.
