According to the hotel operator, the site will provide “convenient access” to military staff and their relatives visiting Maxwell Air Force Base and Maxwell Gunter Annex.
The hotel is also expected to serve staff, students, and campus visitors of Auburn University at Montgomery, as well as business travellers, contractors, and project teams associated with the nearby Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Plant.
The development marks the brand’s entry into Alabama and forms part of its ongoing growth strategy across the southeastern US.
Additional hotels are also in the pipeline for Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
These new sites will add to the company’s existing network of 13 operational hotels in the country.
LivAway Suites described its accommodations as tailored specifically for guests staying longer periods. They feature full kitchen facilities, a designated work area, and a separate sleeping space, alongside other amenities.
LivAway Suites chief executive Mike Nielson said: “More people than ever need a place to land for a few weeks or a few months, and they deserve something better than simply making do.
“That’s why we built LivAway Suites. Every LivAway is brand new and purpose-built for longer stays, offering full kitchens, more space, quieter rooms, and the flexibility people need to maintain their routine while away. We’re proud to bring that experience to Montgomery.”
In June, LivAway Suites opened a new hotel in Surprise, Arizona.
