IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Discover Resorts Neral for voco Karjat in Maharashtra, India.
As agreed, the property will be converted to IHG’s voco brand by early 2028. It will add more than 200 rooms to the company’s portfolio.

voco Karjat is situated in the foothills of the Sahyadri mountain range, around 62km from Mumbai and 102km from Pune.
The hotel will have three dining venues, a fitness centre, a kids’ zone, pet-friendly amenities, a salon and spa, among other amenities.
IHG Hotels & Resorts Southwest Asia managing director Sudeep Jain said: “Karjat is emerging as an exciting leisure market in Maharashtra, with its proximity to Mumbai and Pune creating a strong opportunity to serve the growing demand for weekend travel, weddings, celebrations and MICE [meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions].

IHG currently operates 53 hotels across seven brands in India, including Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Six Senses, Vignette Collection, and voco Hotels
The company also has 110 hotels in its development pipeline, scheduled to open over the next three to five years.
