In a company statement, Checkout.com said that Minor Hotels is bringing its payment infrastructure together as it expands into further markets.

Under the agreement, the digital payments company will provide global acquiring and payment optimisation for Minor Hotels’ properties in multiple markets.

Checkout.com said its domestic acquiring capabilities can increase payment authorisation rates and reduce processing costs by routing transactions locally.

The partnership will also include Checkout.com’s Intelligent Acceptance and Dynamic 3DS Authentication tools.

Intelligent Acceptance is an AI-based transaction optimisation system that uses data from Checkout.com’s global network.

According to the company, the tool is designed to improve first-attempt approval rates and reduce unsuccessful payments in cross-border and multi-currency transactions.

Dynamic 3DS Authentication applies security checks based on issuer preferences and local regulatory requirements. This is intended to limit unnecessary payment friction for guests.
