The company said the signings will “strengthen its presence” in the state where it currently operates two hotels and has three properties in its development pipeline, including the two Bodhgaya projects.
The location draws domestic and overseas visitors as a major Buddhist pilgrimage destination. Leisure and business travel also contribute to demand for accommodation in the city.
Located around 10km from Bodhgaya Airport and 14km from Gaya Railway Station, Lemon Tree Hotel, Bodhgaya will have 75 rooms, a restaurant, banquet hall, and meeting and conference facilities. It will also include a swimming pool and fitness centre.
Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Bodhgaya is located approximately 11km from Bodhgaya Airport and 15km from Gaya Railway Station. The 70-room hotel will feature a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting and conference space, swimming pool, and fitness centre.
Lemon Tree Hotels president Vishvapreet Singh Cheema said: “We are delighted to expand our presence in Bihar with this strategic twin signing in Bodhgaya, a destination of profound cultural and spiritual significance with a strong and diverse visitor base.
“As the destination continues to attract pilgrims and travellers from India and around the world, there is growing potential for quality, branded accommodation across segments.
