First Central Hotel Suites Dubai has brought its front desk and food and beverage (F&B) operations onto a single cloud-based system using Shiji technology.
The hotel is using Shiji’s Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS to give staff across departments access to the same guest information.

The change replaces separate systems that had reduced visibility between teams and slowed some service processes.
The property was looking for a system that could connect front office and food and beverage teams through one source of guest data.
The tech vendor noted that, before the switch, staff worked on separate platforms that made it harder for departments to view shared information and resulted in inefficiencies in access to guest and stay details.
Front desk employees needed quicker access to dependable guest data while F&B teams required closer links with room and billing information to support personalised service, correct posting and smoother interactions.
Central Hotels and Resorts cluster marketing manager Zakaria Abdelhai said: “At First Central Hotel Suites Dubai, innovation plays an important role in how we deliver service.
“By adopting Shiji’s technology, we have improved how our teams work together day to day. We now have better visibility across departments, greater confidence in our data, and a more connected operational environment that supports a smoother guest experience.”
With the new systems in place, guest information now moves between departments, routine work involves fewer manual actions, and staff can respond more effectively during busy periods.
Shiji said this has led to improved coordination between front office and F&B teams, quicker service and stronger operational oversight across the property.
Daylight PMS is built on cloud architecture and is intended to support a single guest profile while meeting data security and privacy requirements.
Infrasys POS provides point-of-sale functions that connect directly with hotel operations, with the aim of maintaining accuracy and consistency across food and beverage outlets.
Shiji Middle East vice-president Andreas Duerkoop said: “Bringing guest information together across departments means our teams can respond to guests faster, with fewer manual steps in the way.”
Last month, Wyndham Garden Phuket Kamala implemented Shiji’s Infrasys POS across its F&B operations.
