IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has broadened its commercial agreement with Urban Property Group (Urban) by adding two new hotel developments in New South Wales (NSW), Australia.
The transaction covers the signings of Crowne Plaza Newcastle and Hotel Indigo Gosford, following the previous agreement for Crowne Plaza Parramatta finalised in 2025.

Crowne Plaza Newcastle is scheduled to begin operations in late 2029.
The 171-key hotel will be situated inside a 43-storey tower that also includes 219 residential apartments.
It will feature an all-day dining venue, a lobby bar, an outdoor swimming pool, and landscaped communal zones.
The hotel property will also offer more than 550m² of dedicated conference and function facilities, anchored by a 425m² ballroom.
Hotel Indigo Gosford is slated to open in mid-2030 as part of Urban’s The Waterfront precinct.
Comprising 152 guest rooms with views across Brisbane Water, the property will feature a local café and bar, wellness facilities, and a rooftop swimming pool.

Recently, IHG also reached an agreement with ALAND to launch its Staybridge Suites brand in Australia.
