The site is positioned along a primary corridor connecting the capital with Queen Alia International Airport, with the coffee theme incorporated across the building’s levels.

IHG said the property’s initial two storeys will comprise a coffee reserve and experience centre, serving as “an immersive food and beverage destination” for the guests.

The coffee-led theme will also be reflected across the hotel’s guest accommodations.

The hospitality company added that the project is “well positioned” to meet the growing demand for a “premium lifestyle accommodation”.

The agreement broadens IHG’s footprint in Jordan.

The business currently operates eight properties in the country under three brands: InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn Resort.

IHG Hotels & Resorts India, Middle East and Africa managing director Haitham Mattar said: “Jordan continues to strengthen its position as a long-term growth market, underpinned by national tourism development priorities and an increasingly diverse visitor base.

“That spirit makes this future coffee-inspired hotel in Amman a natural fit for our Noted Collection brand.

“Rooted in the craft, culture and ritual of coffee, the hotel will offer a stay shaped by local heritage and designed to spark curiosity, connection and conversation.”

Earlier this month, IHG expanded its commercial agreement with Urban Property Group by adding two new hotel developments in New South Wales, Australia.
