Hospitality group Accor has entered a partnership with PT Hotel Utama Bekasi to develop the Mercure Bekasi City Center in Indonesia.
The hotel is expected to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2026.

PT Hotel Utama Bekasi director Richard B Hartono said: “We are delighted to partner with Accor to bring Mercure Bekasi City Center to life.
“By combining our local presence at Mega Bekasi Hypermall with Accor’s global scale and expertise, we are creating a destination that blends local discovery with international standards.

The property will be situated on the fifth-floor rooftop of the Mega Bekasi Hypermall. The location will provide guests with direct connectivity to the commercial complex’s retail, dining, and leisure facilities.
Targeted at corporate and leisure travellers, the hotel will comprise 172 guest rooms, including larger configurations suited for family stays.
Mercure Bekasi City Center will also feature a restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.
For corporate functions and private events, the development will feature ten adaptable meeting rooms and a Sky Ballroom with a capacity of up to 255 attendees, designed to accommodate conferences, weddings, and other gatherings.
Accor Asia premium, midscale and economy division chief operating officer Garth Simmons said: “We are delighted to bring Mercure’s warm, locally inspired hospitality to one of Bekasi’s most dynamic commercial and transport hubs.
“With its integration into the mall, versatile facilities and convenient transport connections, this hotel will offer travellers a comfortable base from which to discover the city.”
The agreement adds to Accor’s established portfolio in Indonesia, where the operator currently oversees more than 140 hotels representing upwards of 29,000 rooms, alongside a secured pipeline of over 40 upcoming properties.
