It traditionally records “strong” summer occupancy from Middle Eastern visitors, alongside custom from the US and other overseas markets, highlighted the tech vendor.
Royal Garden Hotel commercial director Gareth Quin said: “With better visibility into those patterns, alongside more detailed insight into segment and room-type performance and pricing recommendations, our team can spend less time making day-to-day adjustments and reacting to changes, and more time focusing on the wider commercial decisions that support long-term growth.”
The hotel adopted the system to adjust room rates and inventory across individual room tiers and reservation windows.
The platform tracks historical booking behaviour and shifts in demand to generate pricing models and occupancy projections.
On-site staff can then adjust these recommendations using local market knowledge and scheduled area events.
The system evaluates group contract inquiries, including corporate conferences, athletic delegations, and entertainment crews.
Because group revenue often extends past room rates to catering, banquet spaces, and other ancillary spend, the software calculates total expected value and weighs it against projected individual transient bookings to determine displacement costs.
IDeaS EMEA principal sales director Warren Mandelbaum said: “Royal Garden Hotel is one of London’s most distinctive independent luxury properties, with a business mix that demands both agility and precision. The team has a clear vision for how it wants to evolve its commercial strategy and we’re proud to support that journey.
“By giving the team greater confidence in how demand is developing and where the strongest opportunities exist, IDeaS will help play a key role in helping the team make informed decisions that support long-term, sustainable growth.”
