Situated within the Taipei Dome development in the Xinyi District, the hotel comprises 347 guest accommodations. Classic rooms start at roughly 38m2, with select rooms overlooking Taipei 101.
Residential-style suites, measuring from approximately 76m2, incorporate self-contained kitchens, dining spaces, and integrated laundry amenities.
The hotel also has seven dining venues, featuring concepts overseen by chef Akira Back.
Additional hotel provisions include adaptable meeting facilities, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, and Club InterContinental services.
IHG Luxury & Lifestyle, Taiwan market area general manager and InterContinental Taipei general manager Robbert Manussen said: “Taipei is a city of extraordinary energy and modernity, but also one defined by a distinctive sense of warmth and an exceptionally rich way of life.
“Our ambition is for InterContinental Taipei to be more than a hotel in Taipei; it should feel like a hotel that belongs to Taipei.
“We want the hotel to become a gateway into the city: a place where international travellers can experience Taipei more deeply, and where local guests can discover new ways to enjoy the city they call home.”
The opening of InterContinental Taipei expands IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Taiwan. The brand’s footprint in the market also includes InterContinental Kaohsiung, InterContinental Taichung, and InterContinental New Taipei Hot Spring.
