Accor has selected IDeaS Optix as one of the referenced business intelligence solutions available to its hotels worldwide.
The selection extends an existing commercial relationship between the two organisations. A wholly owned subsidiary of SAS, IDeaS already serves as the revenue management system of record across the Accor network.

Accor operates more than 5,800 hotels in over 110 countries. IDeaS said the group is investing in tools that allow property teams to spend less time analysing performance and more time acting on the results.
Optix is designed to provide hotel staff with immediate visibility into business performance, helping teams identify operational areas requiring attention and determine commercial priorities.
IDeaS stated that the software integrates directly into Accor’s existing commercial technology stack rather than adding a separate reporting layer.
The platform uses a modular setup intended to suit Accor’s various brands and segments, from economy to luxury.
For hotel owners and operators, IDeaS said the platform is intended to support day-to-day decision-making and align property-level actions with wider portfolio objectives.
The companies also aim to help hotels identify commercial opportunities earlier, respond to shifts in demand and market conditions, and link operational data directly with business strategy.
IDeaS co-founder and chief scientist Dr Ravi Mehrotra said: “Too many hotel teams still spend significant time manually compiling reports and piecing together disconnected data sources just to understand performance. Optix was designed to eliminate that friction by giving hotels fast access to trusted commercial insights that help teams make faster, more confident commercial decisions.”
Accor chief sales and revenue officer Julien Houdebine said: “As we continue to scale Accor’s commercial engine globally, our priority is to give our hotels and partners the right insights to make faster, better-informed decisions.
“Optix will help simplify access to performance data, enabling hotel teams to identify opportunities, adapt their commercial strategies and ultimately drive stronger performance.”
