IT jobs claimed a 13.89% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.36% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.4% in August 2021, and a 7.08% drop over July 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 9.36% in August 2021, and registered growth of 33.33%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.36% in August 2021, a 20% drop from July 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 48.54% share, which marked a 2.47% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 44.44%, registering a 27.62% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 5.85% share and a 42.86% rise over July 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.17% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 45.61% share in August 2021, an 8.33% growth over July 2021. Denmark featured next with a 20.47% share, down 33.96% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 14.04% share, a decline of 35.14% compared with July 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead A.P. Moller – Maersk IT hiring activity in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.65%, down by 16.39% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.82% share, a decline of 16.39% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.53% share, up 63.64% over July 2021.
