Denmark travel & tourism industry registered a 1.6% rise in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.

The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 4.81% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 26.95% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 0.34% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Denmark travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark travel & tourism industry in July 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 66.67% in July 2021, a 46.67% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 19.7% share, decline of 27.78% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.06%, registering a 300% rise from June 2021.

4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 4.55%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in Denmark IT recruitment activity in July 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark travel & tourism industry during July 2021 over June 2021.

A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 53 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 26.19% over the previous month, followed by AirAsia Group with 5 jobs and a flat growth. Uber Technologies with 4 IT jobs and DSV Panalpina with 2 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a 50% decline, respectively, while Copenhagen Airports recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during July 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.18%, up by 45.16% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.73% share, a decline of 16.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.09% share, up 100% over June 2021.
