The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 8.89% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 6.71% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.46% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by DSV Panalpina, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 53.66% in June 2021, and a 2.33% growth over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 39.02% in June 2021, and registered a 23.08% an increase. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 4.88% in June 2021, a flat growth from May 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at DSV Panalpina
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 69.51% share, which marked a 5.56% growth over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 13.41%, registering a 37.5% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 13.41% share and an 8.33% drop over May 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.66% and a month-on-month an increase of 50%.
Poland commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 37.8% share in June 2021, a 14.81% growth over May 2021. Netherlands featured next with a 19.51% share, down 5.88% over the previous month.United States recorded a 12.2% share, decline of 9.09% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead DSV Panalpina IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.2%, down by 3.77% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 20.73% share, a growth of 88.89% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 17.07% share, flat growth over May 2021.
