The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 12.6% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.64% share in June 2021, recording decrease of 0.06% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 67.16% in June 2021, a 21.62% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 14.93% share, an flat growth over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.96%, registering a 20% rise from May 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 1.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France travel & tourism industry during June 2021 over May 2021.

Europcar Mobility Group posted 23 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a drop of 52.08% over the previous month, followed by Getaround with 23 jobs and a 283.33% growth. International Game Technology with 9 IT jobs and Pierre & Vacances with 4 jobs, recorded an 80% growth and a 300% increase, respectively, while Flight Centre Travel Group recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during June 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.1%, down by 3.64% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with an 11.94% share, a growth of 14.29% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 8.96% share, down 25% over May 2021.
