Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Food Preparation and Serving Related Occupations, which accounted for 11% of the total new job postings in Q1 2023 and were up by 21% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 10% and rise by 15% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 40% of the new job postings and 40% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in travel and tourism accounted for 90% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Marriott International with 265, followed by Accor with 217, while the highest increase was at Hilton Worldwide at 100%.
