Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.99% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 0.01% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.65% in July 2021, a 10% drop over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 40.54% share, an increase of 66.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.11%, registering a 66.67% decline from June 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.41%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in Philippines IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 43.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Philippines travel & tourism industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
William Hill posted 13 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 8.33% over the previous month, followed by DSV Panalpina with 9 jobs and a 28.57% growth. Uber Technologies with 5 IT jobs and International Game Technology with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while A.P. Moller – Maersk recorded a 50% decline with 2 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.46%, down by 18.52% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 27.03% share, a growth of 11.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 13.51% share, up 25% over June 2021.
