Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.3% in June 2022, and a 27.17% drop over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.17% in June 2022, and registered flat growth. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 14.29% in June 2022, a 66% drop from May 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at A.P. Moller – Maersk
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 56.3% share, which marked a 22.99% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 38.66%, registering a 28.13% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 3.36% share and a 33.33% drop over May 2022.
In the fourth place was North America with a share of 1.68% and a month-on-month decline of 92.86%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 45.38% share in June 2022, a 10.2% growth over May 2022. The UK featured next with an 18.49% share, down 21.43% over the previous month. Denmark recorded a 15.13% share, a decline of 37.93% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.07%, down by 40.44% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.09% share, a decline of 11.9% compared with the previous month.
