The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.97% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 14.42% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.34% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 50.29% in October 2021, and a 20.18% drop over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 22.54% in October 2021, and registered flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.03% in October 2021, a 36.84% rise from September 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at A.P. Moller – Maersk

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 46.82% share, which marked a 3.85% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 42.2%, registering a 23.16% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 9.25% share and a 100% rise over September 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.73% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 28.9% share in October 2021, a 36.71% decline over September 2021. Denmark featured next with a 22.54% share, down 7.14% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 20.81% share, an increase of 20% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead A.P. Moller – Maersk IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.16%, down by 8.26% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 27.17% share, a decline of 2.08% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.67% share, up 7.14% over September 2021.
