The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 8.53% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 15.44% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 0.99% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops A.P. Moller – Maersk IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.78% in November 2021, and a 28.09% rise over October 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.37% in November 2021, and registered growth of 69.23%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 17.13% in November 2021, a 5.13% drop from October 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at A.P. Moller – Maersk
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 54.17% share, which marked a 40.96% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 35.19%, registering a 4.11% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 7.41% share and a flat growth over October 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.31% and a month-on-month flat growth. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.93%, registering a 33.33% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 31.02% share in November 2021, a 34% growth over October 2021. Denmark featured next with a 24.54% share, up 32.5% over the previous month. The UK recorded an 18.52% share, an increase of 8.11% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead A.P. Moller – Maersk IT hiring activity in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.06%, up by 32.43% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.07% share, a growth of 6.12% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.87% share, up 13.33% over October 2021.
