The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 8.09% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 8.5% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.11% decline over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 45.24% in July 2022, and a 6.17% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 25% in July 2022, and registered growth of 75%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.48% in July 2022, a 36.84% rise from June 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at A.P. Moller – Maersk

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 57.74% share, which marked a 21.25% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 34.52%, registering a 13.73% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 4.17% share and a 250% rise over June 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.57% and a month-on-month increase of 50%.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 50% share in July 2022, a 27.27% growth over June 2022. Denmark featured next with a 15.48% share, up 30% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.14% share, an increase of 20% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.02%, up by 28.72% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.62% share, a decline of 7.32% compared with the previous month.
