Denmark’s travel & tourism industry registered a 12.6% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.15% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 24.27% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 1.82% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Denmark’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry in October 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 66.04% in October 2021, registering a 12.9% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 28.3% share, a decrease of 6.25% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.66%, registering a 200% rise from September 2021.
Top five travel & tourism companies in Denmark’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 6% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 39 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 7.14% over the previous month, followed by AirAsia Group with 6 jobs and a 200% growth. DSV with 5 IT jobs and Booking Holdings with 2 jobs, recorded a 16.67% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Copenhagen Airports recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.49%, flat growth from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 37.74% share, registered an increase of 17.65% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.77% share, flat growth over September 2021.
