Denmark’s travel & tourism industry IT recruitment activity rises 15.3% in September 2022

Denmark’s travel & tourism industry registered a 15.3% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.72% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.42% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 3.6% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Denmark’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry in September 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.54% in September 2022, registering a 4.35% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20.51% share, a decrease of 11.11% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.38%, registering a flat growth from August 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 2.56%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in Denmark’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 38 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 5.56% over the previous month, followed by Copenhagen Airports with 1 job and a flat growth. .

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.36%, up by 38.1% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.64% share, registered a decline of 41.18% compared with the previous month.
