Germany-based company Deutsche Bahn’s IT hiring declined 3.6% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.95% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.86% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.02% decline over the last three-month average share.

 

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Deutsche Bahn IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Bahn, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.04% in February 2022, and a 14.63% rise over January 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 15.58% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 47.83%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.99% in February 2022, a 9.09% drop from January 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Deutsche Bahn

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 76.62% share, which marked an 18.06% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 12.99%, registering a 150% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10.39% share and a flat growth over January 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 62.34% share in February 2022, a 15.79% decline over January 2022. US featured next with an 11.69% share, up 125% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 9.09% share, an increase of 75% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Bahn IT hiring activity in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.74%, down by 20.69% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.38% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.99% share, up 42.86% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.9%, recording a month-on-month decline of 50%.
