Europe drives IT hiring at Deutsche Bahn

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in December 2021 with an 85.19% share, which marked an 8% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 8.64%, registering a 12.5% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 4.94% share and a 20% drop over November 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.23% and a month-on-month flat growth.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 75.31% share in December 2021, a 1.67% growth over November 2021. US featured next with an 8.64% share, flat growth over the previous month. The UK recorded a 4.94% share, a decline of 50% compared with November 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Bahn IT hiring activity in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.26%, down by 25% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 20.99% share, a growth of 112.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.81% share, down 20% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 4.94%, recording a month-on-month increase of 300%.
