Deutsche Lufthansa’s IT hiring activity rises 1.3% in July 2022

Germany-based company Deutsche Lufthansa’s IT hiring rose 1.3% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.15% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 13.56% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a flat growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Deutsche Lufthansa IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Lufthansa, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 50% in July 2022, and a 71.05% rise over June 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 15.38% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 9.09%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 12.31% in July 2022, a 433.33% rise from June 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Deutsche Lufthansa

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 93.08% share, which marked a 98.36% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 3.85%, registering a 37.5% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2.31% share and a 200% rise over June 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.77% and a month-on-month flat growth.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 66.92% share in July 2022, a 107.14% growth over June 2022. Poland featured next with an 11.54% share, up 150% over the previous month. Italy recorded a 6.15% share, an increase of 700% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Lufthansa IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.15%, up by 43.33% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.08% share, a growth of 150% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10.77% share, flat growth over June 2022.
