The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.28% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.86% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.07% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in France’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s travel & tourism industry in June 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 52.94% in June 2022, registering a 52.63% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 17.65% share, a decrease of 62.5% over the previous month.

3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 11.76%, registering a 33.33% decline from May 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 11.76%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 54.84% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s travel & tourism industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Europcar Mobility Group posted 6 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 200% over the previous month, followed by Accor with 3 jobs and a 70% drop. Pierre & Vacances with 2 IT jobs and American Express Global Business Travel with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and an 84.62% decrease, respectively, while The Walt Disney recorded a decline of 83.33% with 1 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.47%, down by 59.38% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.53% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
