The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.05% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.13% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.55% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.06% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s travel & tourism industry in June 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.26% in June 2022, registering a 29.03% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 19.81% share, a decrease of 16% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.49%, registering a flat growth from May 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 6.6%, down 63.16% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 29.71% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s travel & tourism industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Deutsche Bahn posted 34 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 41.38% over the previous month, followed by Deutsche Lufthansa with 32 jobs and a flat growth. Flix with 21 IT jobs and Hapag-Lloyd with 6 jobs, recorded a 48.78% decline and a 200% growth, respectively, while TUI recorded a decline of 20% with 4 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.19%, down by 27.97% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.15% share, registered a decline of 40% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.66% share, flat growth over May 2022.
