
Poland’s travel & tourism industry registered a 12.0% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.02% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 19.6% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 1.37% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s travel & tourism industry in October 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60% in October 2021, registering a 40% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 27.14% share, an increase of 58.33% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.14%, registering a 66.67% rise from September 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.29%, up 200% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 67.5% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s travel & tourism industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
DSV posted 39 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 21.88% over the previous month, followed by Evolution with 11 jobs and a flat growth. International Game Technology with 10 IT jobs and Deutsche Bahn with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 33.33% decrease, respectively, while lastminute recorded an increase of 50% with 3 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.43%, up by 48.28% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 25.71% share, registered an increase of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.86% share, up 200% over September 2021.
