IT jobs accounted for a 4.54% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in June 2022, registering an increase of 0.8% over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 33.33% in June 2022, a 66.67% rise over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 33.33% in June 2022, marking a 64.29% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 20% in June 2022, a 25% drop from May 2022.

A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 4 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a decline of 33.33% over the previous month, followed by Uber Technologies with 3 jobs and a 75% drop. CWT with 2 IT jobs and TripAdvisor with 1 jobs, recorded a 100% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while Vacasa recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during June 2022.

Costa Rica commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 26.67% share in June 2022, a 33.33% decrease over May 2022. Panama featured next with a 20% share, up 200% over the previous month. Brazil recorded a 20% share, a drop of 25% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
