The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.87% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 16.64% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.6% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Walt Disney IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Walt Disney, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 71.6% in August 2022, and a 26.11% drop over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.73% in August 2022, and registered flat growth. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.33% in August 2022, a 3.57% drop from July 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at The Walt Disney
North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in August 2022 with an 85.19% share, which marked a 21.14% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 9.26%, registering a 48.28% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 4.01% share and a 44.44% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.54% and a month-on-month increase of 150%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with an 84.26% share in August 2022, a 19.71% decline over July 2022. India featured next with a 7.1% share, down 58.93% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 3.09% share, an increase of 66.67% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead The Walt Disney IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.02%, down by 25.98% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.25% share, a decline of 16.24% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.42% share, down 21.28% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.31%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
