US-based company The Walt Disney’s IT hiring rose 1.6% in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.71% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 12.72% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 0.56% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Walt Disney IT hiring in December 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Walt Disney, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 71.43% in December 2021, and a 20.38% drop over November 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.71% in December 2021, and registered a decline of 32%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.86% in December 2021, a 9.09% rise from November 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at The Walt Disney
North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 79.43% share, which marked a 24.04% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 16.57%, registering a 26.09% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 4% share and a 61.11% drop over November 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 78.86% share in December 2021, a 23.33% decline over November 2021. China featured next with a 12% share, up 23.53% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead The Walt Disney IT hiring activity in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 48%, down by 31.71% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 37.71% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.29% share, down 26.47% over November 2021.
