US-based company TripAdvisor’s IT hiring rose 2.4% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.7% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops TripAdvisor IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by TripAdvisor, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 89.74% in July 2022, and a 29.63% rise over June 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 7.69% in July 2022, and registered flat growth. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 2.56% in July 2022, a flat growth from June 2022.

North America stood next with 20.51%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 7.69% share and a 200% rise over June 2022.
Portugal commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 41.03% share in July 2022, a 128.57% growth over June 2022. US featured next with a 20.51% share, down 33.33% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 20.51% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead TripAdvisor IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 87.18%, up by 41.67% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 7.69% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.13% share, down 66.67% over June 2022.
