Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.02% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.25% over the last three-month average share.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 22.31% share, an increase of 17.39% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 9.92%, registering a 60% decline from May 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 9.09%, down 21.43% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.29% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s travel & tourism industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 22 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 21.43% over the previous month, followed by Greene King with 12 jobs and a 20% growth. easyJet with 7 IT jobs and TUI with 7 jobs, recorded a 41.67% decline and a 133.33% growth, respectively, while TripAdvisor recorded a decline of 40% with 6 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.81%, down by 32.74% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.27% share, registered a decline of 15.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.92% share, down 36.84% over May 2022.
