By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 46.53% in September 2022, registering an 18.54% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 29.6% share, a decrease of 13.33% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.42%, registering a 12.37% decline from August 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 7.52%, down 30.28% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.37% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s travel & tourism industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
The Walt Disney posted 228 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a drop of 22.45% over the previous month, followed by Marriott International with 65 jobs and a 5.8% drop. Aimbridge Hospitality with 61 IT jobs and National Railroad Passenger with 46 jobs, recorded a 17.57% decline and a 9.8% decrease, respectively, while United Airlines Holdings recorded an increase of 51.85% with 41 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.69%, down by 16.37% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.27% share, registered a decline of 27.47% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.54% share, up 1.29% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.3%, recording a month-on-month increase of 200%.
