1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.6% in September 2021, registering a 25.14% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 10.48% share, a decrease of 28.43% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.76%, registering an 18.12% decline from August 2021.

4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 7.54%, up 400% over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 41.25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s travel & tourism industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

Expedia Group posted 275 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Walt Disney with 112 jobs and a 7.69% growth. MGM Resorts International with 105 IT jobs and Delta Air Lines with 96 jobs, recorded a 101.92% flat growth and a 29.73% flat growth, respectively, while BCD Travel Services recorded a decline of 64% with 90 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.65%, down by 7.38% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.85% share, registered an increase of 37.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.79% share, up 30.38% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.72%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
