US-based company Walt Disney ’s IT hiring rose 1.1% in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.4% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 11.97% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a flat growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Walt Disney IT hiring in November 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Walt Disney, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.1% in November 2021, and a 10.06% drop over October 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10.78% in November 2021, and registered a decline of 15.38%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 5.88% in November 2021, a 50% rise from October 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Walt Disney

North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in November 2021 with an 82.84% share, which marked a 13.78% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 8.33%, registering a 10.53% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.33% share and an 88.89% rise over October 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.49% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with an 81.37% share in November 2021, an 11.23% decline over October 2021. China featured next with a 5.88% share, down 14.29% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 5.88% share, an increase of 100% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Walt Disney IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.88%, down by 21.92% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 27.45% share, a decline of 5.08% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.69% share, up 77.78% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.98%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
