French hospitality group Accor, in collaboration with PT Mega Hotel Lestari, has opened its first ibis Styles property in Semarang, Indonesia.

The new hotel, ibis Styles Semarang Simpang Lima, features a total of 127 rooms split into four different types- Classic, Superior, Deluxe and Family Room.

Each room in the hotel has a television, a safety deposit box, a mini fridge, a walk-in shower and a lake-shaped mirror in the vanity.

In addition, the guests can also avail round-the-clock internet facility.

Inspired by a lake, Rawa Pening, in the regency of Semarang, the newly opened property features a blue shade design in most parts of the hotel.

The property is located at Jalan Pahlawan No. 2/2A Simpang Lima Semarang with various government offices and commercial buildings located in close proximity.

Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea CEO Garth Simmons said: “We are delighted and proud to introduce ibis Styles Semarang Simpang Lima, and I’m confident that this new opening will bring something fresh into Central Java’s capital and largest city that will appeal to guests, locals and residents in Semarang.

“ibis Styles showcases a unique design concept, built around a precise theme and a confident, optimistic approach, to deliver simple, trendy and economical hospitality.”

Semarang Simpang Lima features a signature ibis Styles restaurant, called sTREATs. It is an all-day dining venue offering breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The property includes a separate space for professional meetings and events. It is capable of accommodating up to 150 people.

Furthermore, the hotel also has a gym, which is open for all the in-house guests.
