Hospitality group Accor has announced its plans to open Mantis Soanambo Hotel & Spa in Nosy Boraha (Ile Sainte-Marie), Madagascar.
A part of Accor, the Mantis Collection is a hospitality company committed to safeguarding its surrounding communities, wildlife and the environment.
This announcement represents the arrival of the first international hospitality brand on the Nosy Boraha island.
The oceanfront hotel comprises 48 guestrooms and will re-open in May 2023 under the Mantis brand.
Accor is partnering with the hotel’s owner to bring the Mantis hospitality experience to Madagascar.
The Mantis brand will join the Ibis Hotel and Spa Antananarivo as well as the Novotel Convention and Spa Antananarivo as the third Accor hotel to come under the same ownership group in Madagascar.

The new Mantis Soanambo Hotel & Spa has an open-plan reception area, a bar and restaurant, two swimming pools with views of the ocean and multiple beaches.
Mantis Soanambo Hotel & Spa is situated in the southwest part of Nosy Boraha island.
The island is just 45 minutes by air from Antananarivo.
