Hotel management company Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has announced a new growth strategy with lease model of hotel management and operation in India.

AHS Hotel Assets is the new firm created for this lease and freehold ownership model.

Absolute Hotel Services India managing director Sameer Dharkar said: “Our vision is to be proud owners of 25 properties in India within a period of ten years, in addition to at least 25 under management contract model.”

This move will result in AHS Hotel Assets acquiring its first property, U Rivergate Karjat in Maharashtra, India.

Located in a 6.5-acre hidden within 60 acres of green terrain along the banks of the Pej River in Karjat, the U Rivergate Karjat will feature 42 guest rooms.

The resort includes amenities, such as a bonsai garden, riverside views, organic farming with a farm-to-table concept, lush lawn areas, a multi-cuisine restaurant, lounge and bar, a gym, a swimming pool, U Spa, which is set to open soon, and a range of sporting activities.
