almatar Group has introduced a bedbank platform, arabiabeds, aimed at transforming hotel distribution across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The platform will provide hoteliers with increased control and improved connectivity, along with improved accessibility to both regional and international markets via direct contracting and API integration.

arabiabeds is specifically designed to support hotels in key MENA countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, and Türkiye.

Spearheaded by arabiabeds’ managing director Yunus Heyal, the bedbank platform offers a next-generation solution to hotels as well as travel sellers for the management of inventory and worldwide distribution.

Heyal said: “We are proud to launch a platform that delivers transparency, profitability, and scale – while showcasing the strength and warmth of Arabian hospitality to global markets.”

This initiative reflects a focus on enhancing the visibility and operational capabilities of hoteliers.

arabiabeds integrates with almatar’s multi-channel ecosystem, encompassing the A’mal corporate travel brand, the almatar B2C app, and an expanding network of global API buyers.

The forthcoming release of a proprietary extranet and partner dashboard will further augment supplier oversight and management.

It provides real-time rates from regional hotels, direct access to more than 500 active buyers, including online travel agencies (OTAs), destination management companies (DMCs), and wholesalers, and round-the-clock multilingual support.

Additionally, the platform provides complete control over availability, pricing and performance.
