
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has marked it debut in Italy with the addition of a luxury five-star property to its European portfolio.
Located at the centre of Piazza della Repubblica, Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel has 238 rooms including 11 Duplex Suites, three Executive Suites and two Presidential Suites.
The hotel also has five dining venues including The Lobby Bar, Ristorante Tazio, Champagnerie, Posh Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge Bar and La Frusta.
Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome has original elements commissioned by Pope Clement XI for the Vatican in 1705.
The property also has one of the largest rooftop terraces in Rome.
Currently, the property is yet to complete transition to the Anantara brand.

By GlobalDataOver the next few months, Anantara will introduce its full suite of hallmarks and experiences to the hotel.
Starting January 2022, Anantara will commence refurbishment of the property that is expected to last the whole year.
Once completed, the hotel will feature a lobby and new bar added to the dining venues. Fitness centre with personal training sessions, yoga classes and the opportunity will also be added.
In addition to the existing spa with four treatment rooms, a new Anantara Spa on the hotel’s top floor will open in 2022.
The spa will feature steam bath, Hammam, hydrotherapy, a sauna and relaxation area.
The company noted that it will add properties in Amsterdam, Budapest, Nice and Dublin next year.
Anantara’s existing European portfolio includes Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort on the southern coast of Portugal and Anantara Villa Padierna Palace in Marbella, Spain.
