Global hospitality company Araiya Hotels and Resorts and Kamakhya Hospitality Services have plans to launch an urban resort in, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Soul by Araiya, Dharamshala, A Kamakhya Hotel is expected to open in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023, The Economic Times has reported.

Kamakhya Hospitality Services director Vijay Sharma was quoted by the publication as saying: “With a pre-eminent location in Kotwali Bazaar within the Kangra district, Soul by Araiya Dharamshala, A Kamakhya Hotel will be a great addition to the popular winter capital of Himachal.
“Araiya is the ideal partner for this project and together we are committed to developing a sustainably built, streamlined property that does justice to the grand vistas and offers incredible value with its presence in such a dynamic location while offering guests the service and experiences they have grown to expect from this forward-looking brand.”
Located in the mountain landscape, the property will have 33 guest rooms and suites with terraces offering valley views.
Guests can access an all-day dining restaurant with an extended open terrace, a lobby lounge, a bar, a banquet hall and a gym.
Araiya Hotels and Resorts director Amruda Nair said: “As Araiya Hotels continues to grow its presence in North India, we are proud to build upon the success of our existing property Araiya Palampur in Himachal while introducing a differentiated urban experience, this time in the state’s second capital.”
