Archer Hotel Capital has completed the acquisition of the Shelbourne Hotel, located in Dublin’s city centre, Ireland, from Kennedy Wilson.  

Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. 

Established in 1824, the Shelbourne Hotel, overlooking St Stephen’s Green, caters to both travellers and Dublin residents. 

It offers rooms and suites, ranging from Heritage Parkview Room, Heritage Premium Room, Deluxe King Guest Room, and more. 

It also has dining options including The Saddle Room, The Lord Mayor’s Lounge, No.27 The Shelbourne Bar, The Horseshoe Bar, 1824 Bar and The Terrace. 

In addition, it provides an array of event venues such as The Great Room, The Adams & Deirdre Suite, The St. Stephen’s Suite and The George Moore Suite.

The process of acquisition of the Shelbourne Hotel saw Archer being supported by a team of advisors including Arthur Cox, Allen & Overy, Grant Thornton, TFT, WSP, and Lockton.  

Additionally, Deutsche Bank provided third-party financing for the transaction. 

The latest addition comes just after Archer Hotel Capital took over Westin Palace Madrid last month. 

Archer Hotel Capital has a portfolio of 13 hotels with 3,930 rooms such as Renaissance Amsterdam hotel, Conrad Dublin, Hoxton Holborn and Madrid Edition, among others.
