Witkoff and Monroe Capital has appointed Auberge Resorts Collection to manage The Shore Club Resort & Residences in Miami Beach, Florida, US.

The resort, which has been a Miami Beach landmark since 1949, is expected to reopen in 2027 after a significant refresh programme.

The three-acre playground with 175ft oceanfront site will feature Shore Club, The Cromwell Hotel, a new 18-story residential tower and a private villa. Both the residential tower and villa are designed by Robert A M Stern Architects (RAMSA).

As part of the refresh, Shore Club, which was originally designed by Albert Anis in the Art Deco style, will be restored and elevated as an Auberge Resorts Collection.

It will also see RAMSA and Auberge Resorts Collection working together with Bryan O’Sullivan Studio and Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design for the design work, ensuring the property’s historic integrity is preserved.

The new residential tower at The Shore Club Resort & Residences will showcase RAMSA’s interpretation of Miami Beach’s MiMo architecture.

The Cromwell Hotel will be transformed into a private residential entrance, leading to 49 exclusive residences with new floor plans and large glass windows.

An 8,000ft² beach house, also designed by RAMSA, will offer a private entrance, swimming pool, and ocean views.

Meanwhile, The Shore Club Resort & Private Residences will offer various private amenities, including a fitness centre, library, lounge, and residents-only pool.

The property will also feature a signature restaurant, café and bar, an Auberge spa and fitness centre, and three swimming pools surrounded by sun terraces, providing a luxury experience.

Auberge Resorts Collection chairman Dan Friedkin said: “We are excited to expand our urban footprint with the addition of Shore Club in Miami Beach, a place where nature, art, culture and entertainment come together in uniquely compelling ways.

“Our proven skill in elevating historic properties through exceptional service and experiences together with Witkoff’s vision and Robert Stern’s exquisite design will transform this legendary address into a dynamic new destination that embodies the unique spirit of Miami Beach.”
