Avani Hotels and Resorts, a part of Minor Hotels, has further expanded its portfolio in Europe with the opening of Avani Rio Novo Venice in Italy, as reported by BWHotelier.com.

The hotel welcomes guests ranging from remote professionals to millennial travellers who are looking to work as well as relax during their stays.

It is located in the Dorsoduro neighbourhood of Venice and boasts 144 rooms and suites with parquet floors and full-height windows, which offer views of the city’s rooftops and canalside gardens.

Guests can enjoy Venetian street food and wine at 8 Millimetri Cicchetti & Wine restaurant, which features black-and-white photographs of Italian cinema icons.

The restaurant also provides espresso, breakfast and grab-and-go options, as well as flexible meeting areas on the ground floor with a capacity to accommodate 130 guests.

Among the other amenities being provided at the hotel include free Wi-Fi, a gym and four customisable meeting rooms.
