Real estate investment management firm Black Creek Mexico (BCM) has announced the acquisition of the Westin Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, by Grupo Alojica.

The beachfront resort was acquired from Marriott Vacations Worldwide affiliates.

It is managed by Marriott International under its brand Westin Hotels & Resorts.

Following the acquisition, BCM plans major transformation for the property.

The resort’s guestrooms, public areas, pool, spa, fitness and other amenities will be renovated.

Additionally, food and beverage offerings at the Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta will be altered under the new management.

The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta comprises 280 rooms, six restaurants and bars, and also provides 23,000ft2 of meeting space.    

The resort located in the Marina Vallarta area gives a picturesque view of the Bay of Banderas.

Ideally located, the resort is a few minutes away from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport and downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Designed by architect Javier Sordo Madaleno, the Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta offers a wide range of culinary and entertainment options.

Furthermore, over 600 sculptural palm trees add to the welcoming feature of the resort.
